It’s about the arts; bringing people together and bringing people to downtown Elizabethton.

We love this place! While visiting eastern Tennessee on vacation we realized no other location had the appeal that Elizabethton has and it’s very centrally located to the things we enjoy doing outdoors such as hiking, golf, and fishing. Elizabethton also has a really great infrastructure to help new businesses get started.

We have a gallery in place with pieces from some very talented local artists and when you visit, expect to see artwork from local artists that’s reasonably priced and listings of classes or workshops that are being offered. We’re offering various outlets for local artists at this location and this is something very different for Elizabethton.

You don’t have to be an artist to come take a class and just have fun.

We work with artists in a variety of ways and mediums, including fused glass, clay, jewelry, painting and hand pottery. While Karen handles the bulk of the artwork, Tom handles another type of artwork in his audio-visual studio setup. As artists come in to teach classes we can work at filming the lessons, along with pieces of work, to have it available for viewing either online or in a format you can take home.

We also have a stage available for storytellers, musicians, and those wishing to give presentations. In addition, you could plan your next event with an artful-twist at Blue River Studio and incorporate an art workshop into your Party, Couples Night, Date night, or Team Building session leaving with your very own creation and great memories!
